The US Business Data API and MCP Server provide access to public business entity records, building permits, and contractor licensing data from US Secretary of State databases and municipal open data portals. All data returned is already publicly available through government websites.
What we collect: We log API and MCP tool invocations (tool name, input parameters, timestamp, response status) for reliability monitoring and debugging. We do not collect personal information about end users beyond what is included in request parameters.
What we do not collect: We do not collect names, email addresses, IP addresses, device identifiers, or behavioral analytics. We do not use cookies or tracking pixels.
Logged request metadata is used exclusively for monitoring service reliability, debugging failed requests, and understanding aggregate usage patterns. We do not sell, share, or transfer request logs to any third party.
Request logs are stored on Apify's infrastructure under their data processing terms. Logs are retained for up to 30 days and then automatically deleted.
This service runs on the Apify platform and Vercel. Their respective privacy policies apply to infrastructure-level data handling.
All business data is sourced from publicly accessible US government databases including state Secretary of State offices, municipal building permit portals (via Socrata open data APIs), and federal regulatory databases. We do not scrape private or access-restricted data.
If you believe any data returned by this service is inaccurate or should be removed, contact us at avatorresdev@gmail.com. We will investigate and respond within 30 days.
Material changes will be noted with an updated effective date at the top of this page.
